The sign is from a series of Bezalel signs painted on ceramic tiles with the participation of the Bezalel School of Art and are found mainly on the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

The street name also appears in English and Arabic, but as has been done on other signs in the city of Jerusalem, these names have been defaced, apparently by extremist elements.
