שדרוג האתר נעשה ביוזמת תכנית מורשת - ציוני דרך, במשרד ראש הממשלה בשיתוף עיריית ירושלים ובאמצעות רשות העתיקות.

The preservation and renovation of the site were initiated by the Heritage Program in the Prime Minister’s Office, the Jerusalem Municipality and the Israel Antiquities Authority.
