טנק קל מתוצרת אמריקאית העשוי מסגסוגת אלומיניום. השרידן תוכנן ככלי יביל אוויר בשירות האוגדות המוטסות של צבא ארה"ב. הכלי מצויד בתותח בעל יכולת ירי טילים ותחמושת סטנדרטית מאותו הקנה. כלים אלו היו בשימוש צבא ארה"ב במהלך מלחמת ווייטנאם ובמלחמת המפרץ ויצאו משימוש צבא ארה"ב. טנק זה לחם במבצע "סופה במדבר" ולאחריו, בשנת 1993, נמסר ע"י הכוחות המשוריינים האמריקאיים למוזיאון השריון בלטרון.

This is an American-made light tank made of aluminum alloy. The Sheridan was designed to be an air-transportable vehicle at the service of the U.S. Army’s airborne divisions. The vehicle is equipped with a dual purpose gun, enabling firing missiles and standard ammunition from same barrel. These vehicles were used by the U.S. army in combat during the Vietnam and Gulf wars. They are no longer in U.S. army service. This tank was given to the Armored Corps Museum in Latrun by the U.S. armored forces following Operation Desert Storm in 1993.
