טנק מתוצרת גרמניה המערבית בשנות ה-60. בתכנון הכלי נתנה עדיפות לניידות על פני המיגון וכוח האש. כלים מסוג זה זכו לשדרוגים שונים שהתמקדו בעיקר בשיפור מערכות המיגון, בקרת האש ועוצמת האש. אלו נמכרו למדינות רבות בעולם בהן לבנון, יוון, טורקיה, אוסטרליה, בלגיה ודנמרק. כלי זה ניתן למוזיאון השריון בלטרון ע"י ממשלת גרמניה בתחילת שנות התשעים.

This tank was made in West-Germany in the 1960’s. In planning this vehicle, priority was given to mobility over protection and firepower. These vehicles underwent different upgrades which focused mainly on improving protection, fire control and firepower systems. These tanks were sold to many countries around the world, including Lebanon, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Belgium and Denmark. This vehicle was given to the Armored Corps Museum in Latrun by the German government in the early 1990’s.
