בית ד"ר אברהם אבושדיד אשר נבנה בשנת 1925 בסגנון אקלקטי כבנין פינתי, תוכנן על ידי האדריכל אברהם גולדמן והוכרז כמבנה לשימור מתוקף תכנית השימור 2650 ב ’. במקור נבנה בית בן שתי קומות ושימש למגורים. החזית המזרחית הפונה אל שביל האור הינה חזית סימטרית אשר במרכזה כניסה מרשימה למבנה. במבנה גרו אחותו של ד"ר אבושדיד, לאה, ובן זוגה איתמר בן אב"י - בנו של מחיה השפה העברית, אליעזר בן יהודה. בשנות ה -90 עבר הבניין שיפוץ ונוספו שתי קומות. המבנה הוסב למשרדים ומסחר ונהרסו חלקים נרחבים ממנו, שנבנו מחדש באלמנטים טרומיים, בתכנון כהנא אדריכלים. במסגרת החזרת הבניין לייעודו המקורי כבית מגורים, שומר המבנה ברוח התקופה בה הוא תוכנן, קומות התוספת עוצבו מחדש, ונוספה קומת גג
עבודות השימור ותוספת הבניה בוצעו בין השנים 2020-2017 בתכנון בר אוריין אדריכלים.

The Avraham Abushdid house was built in 1925 in the Eclectic Style as a corner building. It was designed by architect Avraham Goldman and has been declared a building for preservation under the Conservation Plan, 2650 B. The structure was originally a two-story house and used as a residential building. The symmetrical eastern façade, facing Ha’Or Lane, presents an impressive entrance to the building. Leah, Dr. Abushdid’s sister, lived in the building with her partner, Itamar Ben Avi - the son of the reviver of the Hebrew language, Eliezer Ben Yehuda. In the 1990s, the building was renovated and two floors were added. The building was converted to offices and commercial use and extensive parts of it were demolished and rebuilt with prefabricated elements by Kahana Architects. As part of the restoration of the building to its original purpose as a residence, and the attempt to preserve the spirit of the period in which it was envisioned, the additional floors were redesigned and the top floor was added.
The conservation work and construction additions, were carried out in designed by Bar Orian Architects.

بيت الدكتور ابراهام أبوشديد الذي بني عام ١٩٢٥ على الطراز الأكلكتي كمبني في الزاوية ، خططه المهندس المعماري ابراهام غولدمان وأعلن عنه للصيانة بحكم برنامج صيانة المباني والحفاظ عليها ٢٦٥٠ ب . بني بالأساس بيت مكون من طابقين واستخدم للسكن . الواجهة الشرقية التي تتجه نحو سبیل هنور ، هي واجهة متماثلة في مركزها مدخل مثير للمبنى . سكن في المبنى شقيقة الدكتور أبوشديد ، لينا ، وزوجها إيتامار بن أفي - ابن اليعزر بن يعودا الذي أحيا اللغة العبرية . تم ترميم المبنى في سنوات التسعينيات وأضيف إليه طابقان . تحول المبنى إلى مكاتب ومحلات تجارية وهدمت أجزاء كبيرة منه ، وأعيد بناؤها مجددا بناصر مسبقة الصنع ، خططها کهانا مهندسون معماريون ، في إطار إعادة المبنى إلى هدفه الأصلي كبيت سكني . تمت صيانة الميني بروح حقبة الزمنية التي خطط فيها ، أعيد تصميم الطوابق الإضافية ، واضيف طابق على السطح تلقت
