ועד העיר ליהודי ירושלים מקום משכן למטה ה"הגנה"
בבניין זה שכן ועד העיר ליהודי ירושלים. ובו פעל בשנים 1930-1928 מטה ה"הגנה" של מחוז ירושלים אשר כלל את מרכז העיר. שכונותיה והיישובים בסביבתה. ארגון ה"הגנה" הוקם ב-1920 והיה הצבא העברי המחתרתי שהיה נתון למרות ההנהגה הציונית הנבחרת. עד שה"הגנה" הפך לצה"ל ב -1948.

This building was the home of the City Committee for Jerusalem’s Jews. and during 1928-1930 It also housed the Haganah Headquarters of the Jerusalem District, which included the city’s central district, its neighborhoods and its surrounding settlements.
