בית בורנשטיין
יהודה בורנשטיין (1930-1888) פעיל ציוני, עלה עם אשתו רוחמה לבית גרינשפן בשנת 1924 לפלשתינה-א"י. רכש קרקע להקמת בית, שבנייתו הושלמה ב -1928. הבית היה אחד המבנים הראשונים בשכונת הטכניקום. נבנה בסגנון האקלקטי כ"בית חלומות" על פי תכנון האדריכל גדליהו וילבושביץ.
בשל המשבר הכלכלי חזרו בני הזוג בורנשטיין לגרמניה שם נותרו בניהם. לאחר פטירתו של יהודה שבו רוחמה ושני הבנים לארץ. בורנשטיין נקבר בבית הקברות הישן ברחוב יפו. לפרנסתה פתחה האם בביתה חנות לכלי בית מיובאים מאירופה.

بیت بورنشتاین
هاجر النشيط الصهيوني يهودا بورنشتاین ( ۱۸۸۸-۱۹۳۰ ) إلى فلسطين مع زوجته روحما عام ١٩٢٤. على قطعة الأرض التي اشتراها أقيم بيته بتصميم المهندس المعماري جدالياهو فيلبوشفيتس على الطراز الانتقائي والذي كان من العمارات الأولى في حي التخنيكوم . بقي ولدا العائلة في ألمانيا . على ضوء الأزمة الاقتصادية عام ١٩٢٨ رجعا إلى ألمانيا . بعد وفاة يهودا رجعت روحما مع ولديها إلى حيفا حيث فتحت في البيت دكانا للأدوات المنزلية المستوردة من أوروبا . دفن بورنشتاين في مقبرة شارع يافا

BORNSTEIN HOUSE
The Zionist activist Yehuda Bornstein (1888-1930) bought this lot arriving in Palestine with his wife Ruhama in 1924. Designed by architect Gedalyahu Wilbuszewicz in the eclectic style, the house, finished in 1928, was one of the first houses in the Technicum neighborhood.
The family returned to Germany due to the economic crisis. On her husband’s death, Ruhama and 2 sons returned to Palestine. Bornstein was buried in the Jaffa Road cemetery. For her living Ruhama ran here a houseware store for items imported from Europe.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
