בית וגנר תוכנן בשנת 1935 על ידי אדריכל ארתור רייס בסגנון הבינלאומי למטרת מגורים.
המבנה הוכרז לשימור מתוקף תכנית השימור וממוקם באזור ההכרזה כאתר מורשת תרבות עולמית על ידי אונסק"ו.
חזיתו הרחבה של הבניין פונה לרחוב יפה נוף וכוללת את חלון הטרמומטר ואת המרפסות שהן האלמנט העיצובי הבולט בבניין, הן מדגישות את המימד האופקי של הבניין ומעשירות את המשחק בנפחי הבניין השונים, באור וצל ובסוגי וגווני הטיח השונים. החזית הצרה שפונה לרחוב בן יהודה המסחרי מתאפיינת בבליטה גדולה בקומות העליונות ומרפסות פינתיות הכוללות מעקות מסגרות תואמים לתקופה. המבנה שומר בשנת 2015 על ידי אליקים אדריכלים.

Wenger house was designed in 1935 by architect Arthur Rice in the International style for residential purposes. The building was designated for preservation in the conservation plan and is located in the conservation zone, as declared by UNESCO.
The wide façade of the building faces Yefe Nof Street and includes a thermometer window and balconies as the prominent design elements of the building. They emphasize the horizontal dimensions of the building and enrich the play of spaces of the different buildings, with light and shade and different shades of plaster. The narrow façade that faces the commercial Ben Yehuda Street is characterized by a large protrusion on the upper floors and corner balconies including frame railings that match the period. The building was preserved in 2015 by Eliakim Architects.
