The sign is on a pillar protruding from a wall in the building where Nissim Aloni lived - born Tel Aviv, Israel (1926-1998), playwright, theater director and translator.
One of the most important playwrights in Israel.
Wrote about 10 plays, also wrote several books. Winner of the Israel Prize for Theater (1996), the Bialik Prize (1983), and many other awards.
