באר המים
בעת ביצוע עבודות הפיתוח של הרחבה נתגלתה באר מים.
הבאר חפורה בעומק של כ-7 מטרים ובנויה מאבני כורכר. מבנה הבאר מתאים לבארות טורקיות שהיו בארץ ישראל במאה הקודמת ואשר שימשו להשקיית מטעים ופרדסים.
הבאר שוקמה ושוחזרה במסגרת שיפוץ המבנים והפיכתם למרכז סוזן דלל למחול ולתיאטרון.
כיום משמשת הבאר כמוקד לפעילות אמנותית ויוצרת.

The Well
In the course of development works conducted in the square, a well was unearthed.
The well is approx. 7 meter deep and is built of soft limestone. This type of well is simlar to the style of Turkish wells, known to have existed in Eretz Israel of the 19th century, which were utilized for irrigation of orchards and citrus groves.
The well was reconstructed and renovated upon the buildings’ conversion into the Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre.
Presently, the well constitutes a focal point of outdoor creative and artistic activities.
