מקדש הבאב נרשם ברשימת מורשת עולמית של אונסקו, בזכות משמעותו הרוחנית העמוקה ועדותו למסורת המושרשת של עלייה לרגל בדת הבהאית.

لقد تم إدراج مقام حضرة الباب خمن لائحة اليونسكو للتراث العالمي؛ وذلك مغزاه الروحاني العميق ودلالته على تقاليد الحج الراسخة في الدين البهائي

The Shrine of the Báb has been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List for its profound spiritual meaning and the testimony it bears to the strong tradition of pilgrimage in the Bahá’í Faith

THE SHRINE OF THE BÁB TERRACES AND GARDENS
On 21 March 1909 the mortal remains of the Báb, one of the Central Figures of the Bahá’í Faith, were interred in the Shrine that is the focal point of these gardens. Martyred in Iran in 1850, the Báb had devoted Himself to preparing the way for Bahá’u’lláh, Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, and for His Message of the unification of humankind.
The outer structure of the Shrine, as well as the eighteen garden terraces, were created entirely through contributions from Bahá’ís around the world. We will be grateful for your care in maintaining the cleanliness of the surroundings and respecting their sacred character.

מקדש הבאב והגנים העוטרים אותו על מורדות הר-הכרמל
ב-21 למרץ 1909 נקברו עצמותיו של הבאב אחת הדמויות המרכזיות של הדת הבהאית, המהווה נקודה מרכזית של הגנים התלויים. הבאב מת מות קדושים באירן ב-1850, במסירות סלל את הדרך עבור בהא-אללה, מייסד הדת הבהאית וכן עבור בשורתו לאחדות המקדש האנושות.
המבנה החיצוני של המקדש, כמו-כן 18 הגנים התלויים, נבנו ע"י תרומות בלבד של בהאים מכל העולם. נודה לכם אם תעזרו לנו לשמור על נקיונו של המקום ותכבדו את קדושתו.

مقام حضرة الباب والحدائق المدرجة المحيطة به
في الواحد والعشرين من آذار (مارس) ۱۹۰۹ نقلت إلى هذا المقام القائم في قلب هذه الحدائق رفات حضرة الباب أحد أقطاب الدين البهائي. استشهد حضرة الباب في إيران عام ١٨٥٠ بعد أن كرس حياته في سبيل التمهيد لمجيئ حضرة بهاء الله، مؤسس الدين البهائي وصاحب الرسالة الداعية لوحدة العالم الإنساني.
إن المقام والحدائق المدرجة الثماني عشرة من حوله قد شيدت بكاملها بفضل تبرعات البهائيين في أنحاء العالم نشكر الزائرين لمحافظتهم على نظافة هذا المكان ولمراعاتهم قداسته. المختلفة.
