Orth family collection

פרידריך אורט (Orth) בנה את הבית בשנות העשרים של המאה ה-20. הוא היה בעליהם של פרדס, גני ירקות, כוורות ובית חרושת למשקאות קלים. אורט גם ניהל את המחלבה ואת מכון המים של המושבה. בבניין זה הוצב במאי 1948 מטה המשטרה האזרחית, שהייתה בחודשיה הראשונים חטיבה צבאית במטכ"ל, וביוני 1948 הפכה למשטרת ישראל. בסוף שנת 1948 נמסר הבניין למשרד החקלאות, שהשתמש בו עד פינויו בשנת 2006.

Freidrich Orth built this house in the 1920s. He owned an orchard, vegetable garden, bee hives and soft drink factory. Orth also managed the dairy and the Sarona public water supply system. The civilian police headquarters - an army branch at that time - were located in the building starting in May 1948; in June 1948 it became the Israel Police. At the end of 1948, the building was turned over to the Ministry of Agriculture which occupied it until it was vacated in 2006.

قام بتشييد البيت فريدريش أورت في العشرينات من القرن الماضي ، وكان يملك بيارة وجديقة خضراوات وخلايا للنحل ومعملا للمشروبات الخفيفة . كما كان أورت يدير ملبنة المستعمرة ونظام مائها . وفي مايو أيار ۱۹٤۸ ، استمر في هذا المبنى مقر الشرطة المدنية ، والتي كانت في الأشهر الأولى من نشاطها تعتبر لواء من ألوية القيادة العامة للجيش ، قبل أن تصبح " شرطة إسرائيل “ في يونيو حزيران ۱۹٤۸ . وفي نهاية ذلك العام ، سُلّم المبني لوزارة الزراعة التي استخدمتها حتى إخلائها سنة ٢٠٠٦
