הראשון מבין 22 אלבומיה, "היכן החייל". נכתב בהשראת חייל מכרם התימנים, שנעדר במלחמת יום הכיפורים.

גם כשהייתה מפורסמת המשיכה לעבוד להנאתה כטבחית במסעדה בשכונת ילדותה, כרם התימנים.

בשנת 2000 חלתה בסרטן במיתרי הקול, שהוביל לכריתתם בניתוח, היא המשיכה לכתוב שירים ולהופיע בעזרת מתקן ש"החליף" את מיתרי הקול.

לכל רחוב יש שם, ולכל שם יש סיפור והישגים, שמשפיעים על החיים של כולנו. אבל כמה מאיתנו באמת מכירות ומכירים את הדמויות שמאחורי שמות הרחובות?
גם היום מעט מדי נשים מונצחות ברחובות העיר והעירייה פועלת לתיקון העוול ולהצבת הנשים ופועלן בקדמת הבמה. נשים שהשאירו את חותמן על החברה ושל הציבוריות הישראלית בתחומים שונים.
שבוע ’במלוא הדרה’ מעלה על נס נשים מעוררות השראה. שזכו להכרה ולהוקרה באמצעות קריאת רחוב על שמן.

Ahuva Ozeri
Singer, creator, songwriter, composer and voice development teacher
Israel 1948-2016

The first of her 22 albums, "Where is the soldier". It was inspired by a soldier from the Kerem HaTeimanim, who was missing in the Yom Kippur War.

Even when she was famous, she continued to work for her pleasure as a cook in a restaurant in her childhood neighborhood, the Kerem HaTeimanim (Yemenite vineyard).

In 2000 she got cancer in her vocal cords, which led to their surgical amputation, she continued to write songs and perform with the help of a device that "replaced" her vocal cords.
