Comments:
The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

The building was photographed on the same day by the same photographer (on the building you can see the "Together We Will Win" sign that characterized the State of Israel during the war on October 7, 2023 [Black Sabbath]) Click for a larger image

City Hall
The cornerstone laying ceremony for the new city hall designed by architects Robert Bennett and Binyamin Chlenov took place in 1950 (until then the city hall was on Ben Yehuda Street). The municipality of Holon was among the first in the State of Israel to gather all its departments in one central building. The original building had two floors and the entrance faced north to Be’eri Square. In 1959, the southern wing was added in the planning of the technical department of the municipality. Six years later, the third floor was added to the entire building. In 1973, the 8-story office tower was built, in the Brutalist style, designed by architect Robert Bennett. Today, municipal departments and departments operate outside the building.
