La jouthbe l’auteure se réfugie dans ses appartements die la Rive gauche et, du fond de son lit, elle écrit se nourrissant du calme de son antre, avant de retrouver, le soir venu, l’agitation des fêtes et da be-bop qui rythment le quartier. Paris mondain Paris de solitude: même si la ville apparait pe dans ses écrits, Sagan en demeurera l’une de ses plus chics et libres représentantes.
