The sign is placed on a dedicated stone pole in a spherical shape and is similar to many signs of gardens in Tel Aviv

The square is also known as the pencil square because of its statue in its center. The statue, made by Rafi Peled, was removed around 2021.

In 2023, a new statue was placed in the square Click for sign's details
And the sign bearing the name of the square was replaced, in the new format of squares in Tel Aviv Click for sign's details, with the same text.

"Square Three"
Donated by the Schiff family in memory of the three members of the Haganah who fell on their vigil in the month of Kislev, December 1947, in the defense of the city of Tel Aviv.
