הברחת "אלדד"
כאן שכנה בימי המנדט הבריטי מרפאתו של האורטופד ד"ר טרוי. ביום ח’ בסיון תש"ו, 7 ביוני 1946, הובא למרפאה לטיפול ד"ר ישראל שייב "אלדד", חבר מרכז לח"י, שהיה עצור במחנה המעצר בלטרון. יחידה של לח"י בפיקודו של יעקב גרנק "דב הבלונדיני" תקפה את המשמר הבריטי ששמר על "אלדד" והצליחה לשחררו.

ESCAPE OF "ELDAD"
DURING THE BRITISH MANDATE PERIOD, THIS WAS THE SITE OF THE CLINIC OF THE ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON DR. TREU. ON 7.6.1946 DR. ISRAEL SHEIB "ELDAD", ONE OF THE LEHI LEADERS IMPRISONED IN THE LATRUN DETENTION CAMP, WAS BROUGHT HERE FOR TREATMENT. A LEHI UNIT HEADED BY YA’ACOV GRANLK "DOV HABLONDINI" SUCCEEDED IN BREAKING INTO THE GUARDED CLINIC AND SETTING "ELDAD" FREE.
