תכונות: עץ נוי ירוק עד, מתנשא לגובה עד 15 מ’. לרוב גזעו עקום וצמרתו רחבה. פרחיו הלבנבנים פורחים בסוף הקיץ. גדל באזורי מדבר, חול ואדמות כבדות. עמיד מאוד לחום, ליובש ולמליחות.

Name: Tamarix Articulata - Salt Cedar

Origin, Mediterranean region

Traits, Ornamental evergreen reaching 15 meters, generally with a warped trunk and expansive umbrella. White flowers appear at the end of summer. It grows well in sand and desert regions as well as heavy ground. It is extremely saline resistant and heat resilient.
