Symbol of the "Photograph in Stone" project - Ohel Moshe 1882 - JERUSALEM

The Family of Haim Avraham Alhanaty
Haim A. Alhanaty first visited Eretz Israel in 1908 when he came from Larissa, Greece, by himself. In 1911 he returned together with his wife Sarah (née Sasson) and their sons Avraham and Moshe. Three other children, Margalit, Leah, and Zacharia, were born here. Since they spoke Ladino, it was only natural that they chose to take up residence in Ohel Moshe, where they were well received.
