בית תיאודור זנדל הבית נבנה בשנת 1880 ע"י תיאודור זנדל (1902-1845), סתת אבן, מודד, קרטוגרף, אדריכל ובנאי, שהותיר את חותמו בירושלים ובמושבות הגרמנים. בשנת 1899 זכה בתואר ’יועץ בנייה מלכותי’ של הקיסר וילהלם השני. האריה המוצב מעל משקוף הבית היה סמלו המסחרי העתיק של בית המרקחת המשפחתי בעיר שוואבּיש-האל בגרמניה.

بیت ثيودور زندل
أقام المنزل في ١٨٨٠ المهندس المعماري ثيودور زندل ( ١٨٤٥-۱۹۰٢ ) الذي قام بتخطيط كثير من العمارات العامة في القدس والمستوطنات الألمانية . الأسد فوق الباب كان الرمز التجاري لصيدلية العائلة في ألمانيا .

THEODORE SANDEL HOUSE
Built in 1880 by architect Theodore Sandel (1845-1902), who left his professional mark in Jerusalem and the German colonies. Awarded in 1899 the Royal Construction Consultant title by Emperor Wilhelm II. The stone lion over the house lintel was the family pharmacy trademark in Germany.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
