הבניין הממוקם בפינת רחובות השוק, אלוף בצלות ומטלון תוכנן ע"י אדריכל טשודנובסקי. המבנה נבנה כיחידה אחת בשנת 1934 בסגנון הבינלאומי. המבנה שימש למסחר בקומת הקרקע ומגורים בקומות מעל.
הבניין כולל מספר מאפיינים הנפוצים במבנים הבנויים בסגנון הבינלאומי: משחק נפחים בחזיתות הבניין אשר רובו נעשה ע"י המרפסות הבולטות ממישור הקיר; חזרתיות במקצב אלמנטים בחזיתות: מרפסות זיזיות, חלונות סרט וחלונות ראווה. סימטריה: מוטיב זה אינו אלמנט מובהק של הסגנון הבינלאומי, אך בתל אביב ובמיוחד באזור זה נעשה בה שימוש רב: בחזית ברחוב השוק חלון התרמומטר מהווה ציר סימטריה למבנה השלם (השוק 19+21). המבנה סומן לשימור מרקמי והוא ממוקם באזור "מרכז מסחרי" (כיום פלורנטין). המבנה שומר בשנת 2017 בשיתוף פעולה בין המשרדים:. גרינשפון מהנדסים, תמי אלינב אדריכלות ובניין ערים.

The building, located on the corner of Hashuk Street, Aluf Batslut Street and Matalon Street, was designed by Architect Dov Chudnovsky and built as a single unit in 1934 in the International Style. The ground floor of the building was used for commercial purposes and its upper floors were used for residential purposes. This building possesses several characteristics common to the International Style: The façade features a play on spaces, most of which is created by the balconies protruding from the plane of the wall; Rhythmic repetition of different elements on the facades - cantilever balconies, ribbon windows, and display windows; Symmetry - this characteristic, while not a distinct element of the International Style, is used extensively in Tel Aviv, and particularly in this area. On the building’s Hashuk Street façade, the thermometer window acts as an axis of symmetry for the entire building (19-21 Hashuk). The building was listed for preservation and is located in the commercial center (today known as the Florentin neighborhoods). The building was preserved in 2017, as a cooperative project between Grinspun Building Engineering Ltd, and Tami Elinav Architecture and Town Planning.
