באחת הדירות בבניין זה פעלה בחשאי מפקדת הארגון הצבאי הלאומי, בשנים תרצ"ח-תרצ"ט (1938-1939).
בי"ז באלול תרצ"ט (31.8.39), יום לפני פרוץ מלחמת העולם השנייה, נאסרו במקום כל חברי מפקדת האצ"ל.

Between 1938 and 1939, the Etzel had its headquarters in one of the apartments in this building.
A day before the outbreak of World War II (31.8.39), all members of Etzel’s command were arrested here.
