born in Buchach, Ukraine (then Galicia) (1889-1967), immigrated to Israel in 1920. Stampler studied civil engineering in Lviv, Ukraine, and graduated before immigrating to Israel. He designed many houses in Tel Aviv, including the house where he lived at 5 Ben Yehuda Street
