בלפור 40 - בית רישה רוזן | بلفور ٤٠ - بيت ريشه روزن | 40 Balfour - Risha Rosen House

המבנה ברחוב בלפור תוכנן ע"י אדר’ פנחס בז’ונסקי בשנת 1931, בסגנון בינלאומי ושימש למגורים. המבנה לשימור מתוקף תכנית השימור 2650ב’ וממוקם באזור ההכרזה של אונסק"ו. המבנה נבנה במקור כוילה דו קומתית עבור משפחת ביז’ונסקי ומשרדו.
בשנת 1934 נוספה למבנה קומה נוספת וכניסה נוספת למבנה. אלמנטים אדריכליים ייחודיים למבנה:מרפסות עם עמודים, רצועות אופקיות של לבני סיליקט ופתחי החלונות. בשנת 2013 המבנה שוקם ושומר ע"י משרד אלישע רובין אדריכלים בע"מ, והגב’ חנה ניומן. בנוסף לעבודות השימור נוספו למבנה 3 קומות נוספות.

The building on Balfour Street was designed by architect Pinhas Bizonsky in 1931 in the international style, and was used for residential purposes. The building was listed for preservation as part of the 2650B conservation plan, and is located within the UNESCO conservation zone. The building was originally built as an office and a two-floor villa for the Bizonsky family.
In 1934, an additional floor and an extra entrance were added to the building. The architectural features of the building include pillared balconies, and horizontal lines created by silicate blocks and the windows. In 2013, the building was renovated and preserved by Elisha Rubin Architects Ltd and Ms. Hannah Neumann. In addition to the restoration work, three extra floors were added.
