בית המגורים של אבא חושי
בבית-דירות זה התגורר אבא חושי (1969-1898), שכיהן כראש העיר חיפה בשנים 1951-1969. במקורו ניבנה בסגנון הבין-לאומי (’באוהאוס’), הניכר בחדר המדרגות, במרפסות ובקווים המקבילים של הפתחים והמשקופים. בתקופת כהונתו של אבא חושי הוקמו בחיפה מוסדות תרבות והשכלה, מרכז תעשיות מדע, ה’כרמלית’ ואירועים עירוניים מיוחדים.

Abba Khushi Residence
Abba Khushi, who was mayor of Haifa from 1951 to 1969. resided here 1898 - 1969. It was originally built in the Internationl Style (Bauhaus), which is evident in the staircase, the balconies, and the parallel lines of the doorways and lintels. During Khushi’s term of office, educational and cultural institutions were established, as well as a science- based industry center and the Carmelit subway, and special municipal events were instituted.

سكن في هذا المبنى أبا حوشي (۱۸۹۸-۱۹۱۹) رئيس بلدية حيفا بين المتمثل بمطلع درجه وشرفاته وأسكفة النوافذ والأبواب المتقابلة. أنشأت عهد رئاسته مؤسسات تربوية وتعليمية ومجمعات الصناعة العلمية والمترو، وتم تبني احتفالات محلية خاصة بالمدينة.
