בית דוניה
ביתם של גיה וטוביה דוניה, מראשוני המתיישבים בהדר הכרמל. היה הבניין הראשון ממזרח לטכניון (1920) ושימש למסחר ולמשרדים.
הבניין נבנה על ידי טוביה דוניה, מהנדס תעשיין, בעל חברת הנדסה ובנייה וממייסדי בית החרושת "עתיד" (לימים בית חרושת ״שמן״). דוניה היה חבר פעיל בוועד הדר הכרמל. הוא נהרג במאורעות תרצ"ח (1938) בחיפה. רעייתו, גיטה לבית ויצמן, הייתה ממייסדות החינוך המוסיקלי וממקימות "המכון למוסיקה דוניה ויצמן" הקונסרבטוריום הראשון בחיפה.

DOUNIE HOUSE
The house of Gita and Tuvia Dounie, among the first residents in Hadar Hacarmel. This was the first building located east of the Technion (1920), and was used for commerce and offices.
It was built by Tuvia Dounie, engineer and industrialist, owner of an engineering and construction company, and one of the founders of the "Atid" Factory (which eventually became the "Shemen" Factory). He was active as a member of the Hadar Hacarmel Committee.
He was killed in the 1938 uprisings in Haifa. His wife, Gita, Weizmann, is one of the founders of music education and of the institute of music "Dounie Weizmann" - the first conservatorium in Haifa.

مسكن جيطا وطوفيا دونيا من أوائل هدار ،هكرمل، وكان البيت السكني الأول إلى الشرق من التخنيون (۱۹۲۰)، استعمل للتجارة والمكاتب.
بني من قبل طوفيا دونيا - مهندس صناعي، صاحب شركة هندسة وبناء ومن مؤسسي مصنع عتيد" الاحقا) مصنع "شيمن"). ناشط وعضو في لجنة هدار هكرمل اغتيل في أحداث ۱۹۳۸ في حيفا.
زوجته جيطا من عائلة فايتسمان من مؤسسات التربية الموسيقية التي أقامت معهد الموسيقى - دونيا فايتسمان - الكونسرفتوار الأول في حيفا.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
