Born in Meknes, Morocco. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1964, and in the early 1980s came to Tel Aviv from Migdal HaEmek to act in theater. In the second half of the 1980s he began playing iconic roles as a great comedian and a talented drama actor in both film and television. For example, in Reshef Levy’s masterpiece series "The Arbitrator" in 2010-2014 he played Amos Faruki, a former Maccabi Jaffa player who becomes a man of the underworld.
