יליד חיפה, גדל בתל אביב. יוצר, זמר וגיטריסט מחונן שהחל את דרכו המוזיקלית בסוף שנות השישים. היה ידוע כאוהד מושבע [משובע] של האדומים מתל אביב.
יצר עם אריק איינשטיין ובהרכבים המוזיקליים הגדולים במוזיקה העברית, בהם "הצרצילים", "החלונות הגבוהים", "כוורת", "צליל מכוון". כתב להיטים רבים. זכור בבלומפילד בעיקר בזכות השיר "השדים האדומים" שכתב עלי מוהר לכבוד האליפות הגדולה של 1981. קלפטר הלחין את השיר, וביצע אותו עם יגאל בשן וחנן יובל.

Yitzhak Klepter (1950-2022) Hapoel Tel Aviv, 1980/81
Born in Haifa, raised in Tel Aviv. A gifted composer, singer and guitarist who began his musical career in the late 1960s. He was known as a devoted fan of the Tel Aviv Reds.
He worked with Arik Einstein and in the great musical ensembles of Hebrew music, including "The Churchills", "The High Windows", "Kaveret", "Tslil Mechuvan". He wrote many hits. He is remembered in Bloomfield mainly for the song "The Red Devils" written by Eli Moher in honor of the 1981 major championship. Klepter composed the song, and performed it with Yigal Bashan and Hanan Yuvel.
